February Fun
Looking back, we had a full February! Here are some pictures from the past month... At the beginning of the month, Brett's brother, Drew, came in town to visit. It was fun showing him around and he and Brett went skiing one day.

Fortunately for Drew, we already had Sesame Street Live tickets for one of the nights he was here. :) He was happy to go out to eat downtown at American Flatbread, but then decided to skip the show and go try a local beer. Can you believe that?

At Sesame Street Live...

Will had the BEST time... he sat in Brett's lap the entire time and would squeal and point! This was his face for most of the time.

We went with the Goodwin family, and Taylor and Robin had a blast sitting together.

Valentine's Day party at preschool...

After Valentine's Day, we went to Boca Raton/Deerfield Beach in Florida for my cousin Avery's wedding. We dropped the kids off in Nashville and flew down the next day. We had a great time! It was 85 degrees and sunny. Here we are eating lunch on the beach with Dad, Linda, Nana, Dave and Amanda.

Will turned 18 months! I can't believe it... no more baby. We are really trying to break ourselves of calling him "Baby Will." We can't seem to stop, so he might be Baby Will until he's a teenager.

We finally got some snow last week. One day for lunch, I pulled the kids in the sled up to the Mill Market and got some sandwiches and fresh-baked cider donuts. The kids couldn't wait until we got home, so they ate their donuts in the sled.

And here is poor Will the rest of the time... he just doesn't like the snow at all. The only time he was happy was when he was shoving a donut in his face. Maybe he'll change his mind next year...

Brett and I have had the best time skiing this winter together. It's like a date every Saturday... and lucky Brett- there's so much time to talk on the chair lifts!

Here we are celebrating our 9th Anniversary... we went to Hen of the Woods in Waterbury (delicious)!

Birthday Weekend
We finally got some snow just in time for my birthday! :) We went skiing on Saturday... Brett and I enjoyed most of the day skiing by ourselves in a blizzard! We had powder up to our knees... it was crazy. Here is our car after about 4 hours.

Later in the afternoon, we went and picked up Taylor from ski school and took her for a run. She is doing the chair lift now, and I know it shouldn't freak me out, but it does! She gets on the chair lift with her "friends" and no adult sometimes. Anyways, at least for this picture she was safely next to her Daddy.

FYI- These videos are mainly for grandparents... it's more videos of Taylor skiing.
After church on Sunday, we went to Zachary's (which is like a local ChuckECheese) for my "birthday party lunch." Will was obsessed with skee ball...

The kids had a ball celebrating, so it was a great birthday!

Tay's 3rd Day of Ski School
Here is Taylor's first time down the "mountain" all by herself... afterwards, she did it about 10 more times. We finally had to bribe her off the slopes with hot chocolate. Later, we found out that she had already had hot chocolate, a cupcake, and a popsicle at ski school for lunch. Lovely.
We are having the mildest winter so far in Vermont! People keep telling us how crazy it is. It felt like we were skiing during spring break yesterday... so warm and sunny. We are hoping for some major snow soon!

Christmas Catch-Up
It's about time to catch-up on pictures from Christmas! We had a really busy Christmas season, and I feel like we are just now back to reality. One of Taylor's favorite activities is making baby Jesus His birthday cake... here are the kids Christmas Eve.

Christmas morning in Vermont!

After a big breakfast and some time playing with toys, we left for the airport that afternoon for a Tennessee Christmas visit.

We went to Mimi and Grandaddy's house first. Here we are the next morning...

Taylor loves to play in her pink car and this time, she let Will in for the fun.
Taylor showing off one of her favorite gifts... a Belle doll.

We then headed to Brentwood to Marms and Papa's house. Here's our Christmas morning there...

Nano gave me and my sweet cousins, Rachel and Alex, matching pj's again!

Dinner at Maggiano's... yum yum!!

I think dessert was the favorite for Taylor and Will...

Our last stop was Memphis!

We enjoyed spending time with Drew and his girlfriend, Elsbeth.

We took a day trip to Jackson to see Tim and Jen and crew.

The kids had a great time playing together!

We loved seeing our friends in Memphis... thanks to everyone who got together so last minute! Taylor loved seeing all of her friends, but especially her buddy, Lilley-Grace.

We had a wonderful Christmas vacation, but it was time to get back after 10 days. Will says it all in our plane ride back to Vermont. :)

Tay's 1st Day of Ski School
On Saturday, Taylor had her first ski lesson. We were so blessed to have warm weather for her first day. She even told me that she got sweaty! :)

Dropping her off... I think I was more nervous than she was.

Brett and I went and did a couple runs and then snuck back to watch her first "run." She never saw us in all the ski gear. Peer pressure is a great thing at this age!
