Taylor's Tea Party

My sweet Taylor Grace is 4 years old!  I can't believe it... she is turning into such a little lady.  For her birthday party, she wanted a tea party, so we invited 7 of her friends to come over with their dolls.  Here are (ridiculously too many) pictures from the party!
When the girls arrived, they got to pick out a dress and matching doll dress.
Then, they grabbed some accessories to "complete" the look.
For the craft, we had a bunch of jewels, glitter glue, and sparkle stickers to decorate the purses and hats.
Ready for tea!
The dessert table with cupcakes, candy, and strawberry milk.
Taylor's Lucy doll was waiting for her friends to come join her!
Sneaking a teapot sandwich...
Loved this rainbow fruit idea (from Jen via Pinterest)
Ready for lunch!

 Singing happy birthday...
These girls may be fancy, but still ready to play ball after tea!
Happy birthday Tay-Tay! We love you so much!

Jarrett and Sam's Wedding

My brother, Jarrett, got married a couple weeks ago!  The wedding was in Franklin at CJ's Off the Square.  The wedding was perfect, and we are so happy to have Sam in our family!  She's the best... Taylor is still talking about how beautiful Sam was in her fancy white dress.   Even though it was hot, we still got some great pictures (thanks to Aunt Wendy).
Taylor was the flower girl and took her job very seriously.  She loved being a part of the wedding.  My mom made her dress, and Taylor loved it because it "twirled major."
The Holeman clan...

The Tate clan...
Can you tell Will adores his sister?
Congratulations Jarrett and Sam!  We love you!

Gardening Redemption!

For those of you who saw our attempt of gardening in Memphis, we have redeemed ourselves (thanks to gardening advice from Jill and Luiza).  We got back from Nashville yesterday and found a boatload of zucchini and squash.  I have no clue what to do with it all, so I'm giving lots away.  :)  If you have any creative ideas, leave me a comment!
Taylor is so proud... I think she's even more surprised than I am.
We are starting to see tiny tomatoes, broccoli, and peppers too...
Will carried this around in his Mickey car and "delivered" it to the grocery store.

Summer is starting!

Summer is just getting started here in Vermont.  It's so different from the south... schools just got out for the summer in mid-June.  We are really going to try to embrace New England this summer and do some different mini-trips/activities.  First on the list... strawberry picking!
Blueberries will be available to pick in a week or so, but Will had to try just one.
Charlotte Berry Farm had creamies made with their fresh strawberries... yum yum!
Taylor and I made strawberry jam with all of our strawberries.  We are sporting our new aprons that my mom made us (me, Tay, and doll Lucy).  They are adorable and reversible!
My mom came in town in early June to visit.  We went to Shelburne Museum for the first time.  I had no idea it was such a huge and historic place.
Mike came in town for a couple nights and we went to our favorite restaurant, A Single Pebble.
Brett's parents came in town next!  We went back to Shelburne Museum with them.
The free carousel is the highlight of the trip for the kids... we have to force them off after a few rounds.
Here we are on Father's day at brunch at the Inn at Shelburne Farms.  It's always such a treat to eat there, especially when you can get a table outside.
 My sweet boys...
